Leaving London

Marshall is thirty-eight, successful, financially secure, and trusted with guiding hundreds of lives safely through the skies as an air traffic controller.

There’s just one problem.

He doesn’t trust himself.

Living with OCD means every decision can become an investigation. Every intrusive thought demands an answer. Every locked door needs checking, every mistake feels potentially catastrophic, and certainty always seems one more check away.

Eventually, Marshall begins asking a different question.

What if he stopped building his life around fear?

He sells his London home, leaves behind the career he spent years building, buys a brand-new motorhome, and decides to travel across Europe.

There’s only one passenger he can’t leave behind.

His OCD.

Leaving London is a funny, honest and deeply human story about intrusive thoughts, compulsions, uncertainty and learning to keep moving even when your brain is screaming at you to turn back.

Marshall isn't trying to become fearless.

He isn't trying to defeat OCD overnight.

He's simply learning that sometimes courage means checking once, accepting the doubt, starting the engine and driving anyway.

Because OCD can come along for the journey.

It just doesn't get to choose the route.
